His former home has now been restored and adapted for use as a press heritage centre, containing a library and offices among other facilities. Bait Siyadi (Siyadi House)
Bait Siyadi, once home to a wealthy local pearling family, is a fine example of traditional local architecture and interior design dating back to the 19th century. Outstanding features include stained glass fanlights, beautifully carved wooden screens and ornate ceilings.

Kurar House
This recently renovated house was once a small scale production centre for unique local embroidery as well as handicrafts by women artisans before it fell into disrepair.
